I am currently a post-doctoral research fellow at the University of Aberdeen working on the Eating Disorders and Autism Collaborative (EDAC) research network (edacresearch.co.uk). This multidisciplinary, UK-wide research network was established in collaboration with the University of Edinburgh and King’s College London due to extensive needs for 1. new eating disorder research to be visualised through a neurodivergent lens, and 2. autism-affirming research to be co-produced with Autistic people.
My primary research interests focus on structural neuroanatomy of the brain across differing weight states and eating disorders, but also cover relationships between brain morphology and presence of autistic characteristics.
Research Themes:
MRI, structural image processing/analysis, activation likelihood estimation (ALE) analyses, autism, eating disorders, feeding and eating disorders
