My research interests revolve around the intricacies of the human brain, with one central question: How does the brain work? While we have yet to find a definitive answer, this question has led me to ask more questions and expand my research into various fields, including cognitive and clinical neuroscience and artificial intelligence. My primary research focus is on using AI to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the brain, with the ultimate goal of developing new diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for neurological and psychiatric conditions to translate this knowledge into tangible benefits for individuals. To achieve this, I leverage cutting-edge AI techniques, like deep learning, and state-of-the-art brain imaging technologies, such as 7T MRI. Currently a Lecturer @Glasgow University (UK) on Machine Learning for Neuroscience. I’m pleased to consider applications from prospective PhD students (see blog for the latest news).
