This meeting will be held as a satellite event taking place the day before the 2019 SINAPSE ASM in Dundee. It is a full-day workshop providing opportunities to network with fellow image analysis researchers from around Scotland, and to present and discuss research in an informal setting. The event will close with a drinks reception in the Medical Marvels exhibit at the Dundee Science Centre.

Lunch will be provided and we are delighted to welcome Jonny Hancox from NVIDIA, who will give an introductory lecture on the fundamentals of deep learning for computer vision, then lead hands-on training on deep learning for medical image analysis, and lastly present on applications of generative adversarial networks for medical imaging data augmentation and segmentation.

Location: The meeting will be held in the Dalhousie Building on the University of Dundee campus. When the meeting draws to a close, all participants are invited to adjourn for an evening drinks reception within the Dundee Science Centre, a walk of approximately 10 minutes from the Dalhousie Building (towards the Dundee rail station).
