SINAPSE scientists from the Brain Imaging in Normal Subjects (BRAINS) project at the University of Edinburgh constructed a digital atlas of MRI brain images that may be used to support earlier diagnoses of Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative disorders in older people.

The study, published in PLoS ONE, has received press coverage from sources including The Times, The Herald, Daily Express, Daily Mirror, Consumer Affairs, and STV News.
