The 2017 Medical Image Understanding and Analysis Conference (MIUA) will be held at in Edinburgh from 11th-13 July 2017, for the communication of research related to image processing and analysis and its application to medical imaging and biomedicine.
The submission deadline has been extended until the 10th March 2017 for technical papers and 31st March 2017 for clinical abstracts: https://miua2017.wordpress.com/abstracts/

Technical papers
Authors are invited to submit full papers of length between 8 and 12 pages (1 column – LNCS Springer format) showing original research contributions under the topics of the conference. On this occasion, the conference proceedings will be published in the Springer CCIS – Communications in Computer and Information Science.
A selection of the best papers will be invited to submit an extended version to the special issue “Selected papers from MIUA 2017” of the Journal of Imaging.
Clinical abstracts
Authors are invited to submit clinical abstracts on applications of medical image analysis (for example, applications to studies of cognitive ageing, clinical applications, etc.) that fit on one A4 page. Accepted clinical abstracts will be included in the conference proceedings and, therefore, published online. In the conference, they will be presented as traditional posters in portrait A0 format. A selection of abstracts will be also invited for 2-minute oral presentations in a dedicated session at the event.
