2016 was an eventful year for the Scottish imaging research community, which saw the procurement of state-of-the-art imaging facilities including Scotland’s first MR-PET system and Scotland’s first 7 Tesla (7T) clinical MRI scanner, the funding and initiation of several major multi-centre imaging studies, and the awarding of SINAPSE Seed Fund support to PhD studentships on imaging-related research projects with joint funding from industry partners.
