The University of Edinburgh has been announced as one of six centres selected to form the UK Dementias Research Institute (UK DRI), a £250M initiative dedicated to addressing the challenge of defeating dementia.
UK DRI at The University of Edinburgh will host five foundation programmes, including neuroimaging research led by Prof Joanna Wardlaw investigating small vessel diseases and vascular contributions to neurodegeneration and dementia.
