This project will suit a Physicist, Engineer or Mathematician with a knowledge of scientific programming and an interest in developing novel imaging methods that can be used directly in clinical studies. The project will be carried out in the new Imaging Centre of Excellence (ICE), sited at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow. ICE houses a new 7-Tesla MRI scanner with superior high-resolution imaging capability compared to standard MRI scanners with lower magnetic field strength.
