The appointee will develop and lead a programme of world-class research imaging of brain circuits underlying cognitive function and dysfunction in animals, whilst contributing to high quality teaching. The main criteria are research excellence and potential to build an internationally competitive research group. The research programme should align with the strategic objectives of the Institute of Neuroscience and Psychology, and use state-of-the-art techniques e.g., MRI, MRS and/or other innovative imaging methods, such as electrophysiology, optogenetics, chemogenetics in animals.
