Congratulations to Professor Joanna Wardlaw, who has been honoured with the Karolinska Stroke Award for Lifetime Contribution to Excellence in Advancing Knowledge in Stroke at the 2018 Karolinska Stroke Update Conference.
Professor Wardlaw, who was instrumental in establishing SINAPSE, is Professor of Applied Neuroimaging and Honorary Consultant Neuroradiologist, Head of the Division of Neuroimaging Sciences at the University of Edinburgh, and Director of the Neuroimaging Sciences facility at Edinburgh Imaging.
