We are looking for an enthusiastic postdoctoral researcher to join our team and work in close partnership with industry, academic experts in deep learning and clinicians to address the challenges of artificial intelligence in healthcare.
The job purpose is to work in a multidisciplinary research team and together with our collaborators Canon Medical, Royal Infirmary and NHS to bridge machine learning, artificial intelligence for learning associations from healthcare data, funded by Canon Medical and the Royal Academy of Engineering. Areas of interest include the design of unsupervised, semi-supervised and weakly supervised multimodal learning approaches that learn to combine data for the purpose of making decisions and predictions. The candidate will contribute to an exciting project where deep learning meets imaging and other healthcare data directly addressing industry and societal needs.
This position is fixed term for a period of 36 months from August 2019.
