The University of Aberdeen is looking for a Post-doctoral Data Analysist to extend work on brain health and small vessel disease assessment using novel Field-Cycling technology. This will include the development of optimised 3D pulse sequences for FCI neuroimaging, collection of multi-field MRI data from ultra-low fields to 3T and the analysis of images for the extraction of quantitative parameters such as R1 (1/T1.) and small vessel lesion load. The post is based at the Institute of Medical Sciences, School of Medicine, University of Aberdeen.
Person Specification:

- PhD in computer science, physics, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or related subject.
- Knowledge and experience of programming in MATLAB and/or Python.
- Knowledge of machine learning and related pipelines for image processing and analysis.
- Experience in writing and evaluating image processing tools for data analysis.
This is a 2 year position.
