This meeting was the first SINAPSE SPIRIT Meeting and covered Translational Imaging. The lectures examined the methodology used within translational imaging covering from the preclinical to human. The scope of topics ranged from the choice of appropriate preclinical models to the modification of clinical protocols. The appropriate methodology is necessary to ensure that preclinical imaging yields structural and functional information equivalent to the corresponding human protocols. All types of imaging and the development of new imaging methods were covered.
