A position is available for a Senior Data Engineer to provide imaging data expertise and support sharing of best practice across two organisations, the Health Informatics Centre (HIC) at the University of Dundee, and the electronic Data Research and Innovation Service (eDRIS) at Public Health Scotland. The role is funded through, and contributes to, the InterdisciPlInary Collaboration for efficienT and effective Use of clinical images in big data healthcare RESearch (PICTURES) project.

This role needs specialist knowledge in data engineering, data analysis and ideally stats, AI and machine learning. This is an excellent opportunity to apply analytical skills and experience in health data science. Experience in User Interface design and development would be advantageous, as would familiarity with Service Portfolio Management. As this role works across a range of projects it would suit a highly driven individual with a desire to advance quickly within the field.
