The aim of the course is to provide delegates with a sound understanding of the basic physics of MRI via a series of lectures and supervised tutorial sessions covering everything from basic NMR, T1 and T2, through to neuro, body, and cardiovascular applications.  No previous knowledge of MR physics is assumed.  The general tone of the course is kept relaxed in order to ensure that attendees have a comfortable environment in which to ask questions about any of the concepts – either privately during Q/A tutorial sessions or within the lectures themselves.

The course is limited to 25 attendees – enabling optimised learning and tutorial sessions, together with excellent networking opportunities (including a welcome reception and course dinner).

The University of Dundee will award a certificate to successful candidates, and 25 CME credits will be applied for.

The course traditionally attracts a mix of Clinical Radiology (Radiologists, Radiographers) and Medical Physics (Clinical Scientists, Academic Scientists) delegates from across the UK and Europe.  Lectures will be delivered by the Dundee MRI Physics team, alongside colleagues from Cambridge and Brussels.

‘Early Bird’ reduced course fee applies to registration prior to the end of April 2017.
