The UK City of Culture 2017, Hull, will host the 1-day event allowing the UK PET Chemists to meet and discuss recent results and developments in the PET radiochemistry field.
The focus will be mainly on talks from PhD students and postdocs. Poster pitch session will be used to give students a chance to attract people to their poster for further discussion.

Abstracts: Young researchers are encouraged to submit abstracts for short talks and posters. Abstracts are requested under the topics of Fluorine-18, Carbon-11, Other Positron Emitters and New Technology.
DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION: All abstracts must be submitted by the 24th July 2017. Researchers will be notified of abstract acceptance for oral or poster presentations by 4th August 2017.

Short talks will be 10 minutes long with 2 minutes for questions (12 minutes total).
Posters should be size A0 in a portrait orientation. Please adhere to these dimensions otherwise your poster may extend beyond the edge of the poster board.
Poster presenters will be given a 2 minute poster pitch during the meeting. Speakers should present a maximum of 3 slides including the title slide. The presentation should tell the audience who you are, the aim of your work and your main result. You will be given a Poster Number. Please remember to put your poster number on each of your slides.
Prizes will be offered to the best poster and best short talk presented by a Student/Early Career Researcher.
