The University of Stirling wishes to appoint three Psychologists within the Faculty of Natural Sciences:
2 x Lecturers in Real World Cognition
- Cognitive Neuroscience researchers with experience investigating real world cognitive questions are encouraged to apply.
1 x Senior Lecturer in Developmental Psychology
- Researchers able to provide leadership and with an interest and expertise in multi-methods approaches to developmental issues are encouraged to apply.
The three posts provide an exciting opportunity to contribute to a programme of innovative inter-disciplinary research within the Division of Psychology, enhancing existing research within the Cognition in Complex Environments and Behaviour & Evolution research groups. Successful candidates will have the motivation, enthusiasm and drive to help us achieve the University’s ambitious targets in relation to research and internationalisation set out in our Strategic Plan 2016-2021.
The successful candidates will be expected to carry out excellent research and teaching, commensurate with Psychology’s international profile. The post holders will be expected to strengthen our reputation as an outward looking and well-connected centre for high-quality research, with impact. Applications should also be able to deliver high-quality teaching, developing and enhancing the student experience at Stirling.
