In line with Scottish Government Health and Social Care Directorates guidance, the National Services Division (NSD) of NHS National Services Scotland is recruiting for two key positions with the Scottish Clinical Imaging Network:
Network Imaging Manager
The Imaging Manager will provide leadership and direction to SCIN working collaboratively with the Lead Clinician and Programme Manager to enable the network to deliver and develop its aims and objectives. This will ensure that the Scottish Clinical Imaging Network continues to develop in the future and is in a position to lead and respond to the changes in the delivery of diagnostic services.
Applicants will be leaders in Imaging with post graduate education at Masters level or equivalent with extensive post masters experience and preferably be working towards doctorate level, and have knowledge and experience in the provision, management and development of imaging services. They will command the respect of colleagues nationally and will have a proven record in managing change within a complex environment. The ability to work across traditional NHS Board boundaries and organisations is essential. This will be a secondment and the appointment is for two sessions per week for a fixed term of 2 years.

Lead Clinician
Lead Clinician for the Scottish Clinical Imaging Network is a key strategic role in promoting and driving forward the development of an effective, integrated, multidisciplinary service for imaging throughout Scotland. In this position the postholder will work closely with clinical and other stakeholders and NSD colleagues.
Applicants will be leaders in their clinical field with experience in the provision and development of imaging services. A proven record in leading change, ability to work across traditional organisational, geographical and professional boundaries and a demonstrable understanding of the ethos of managed diagnostic/clinical networks are essential. Applicants must have a current substantive role as an NHS Scotland employee and have the support of their Clinical Director for this post to be incorporated into their job plan. This will be a sessional appointment for a fixed term of 3 years.
