An opportunity is available to contribute to a 2-year project on neurovascular coupling and high-resolution fMRI in rodents, working with Dr Jozien Goense. The project focuses on development and application of combined electrophysiology and fMRI to address questions pertaining to cortical circuitry and neurovascular coupling in healthy animals and in disease. Specifically, the position requires expert knowledge in experimental neuroscience, preferably electrophysiology and/or MRI, and an interest in technology and quantitative methods.
There are also opportunities for translational and collaborative work in the context of the new human 7T facility in the Imaging Centre of Excellence (ICE).
