A new research project is underway involving IMV Imaging and SINAPSE ultrasound researchers at the University of Dundee, funded by the Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) scheme which links businesses in the UK with an academic or research organisation and a graduate.
IMV is the new identity resulting from the recent merger of BCF Technology of Bellshill and ECM of Angouleme, France. The 2-year KTP project will add further functionality in Doppler imaging to IMV’s world leading low power, lightweight veterinary Easi-Scan:Go ultrasound platform.
Fraser Hamilton, a MEng graduate from the University of Glasgow, has been appointed as the KTP Associate on this project. The work is being carried out in collaboration with researchers from the University of Dundee’s School of Science and Engineering, Prof Zhihong Huang and Prof George Corner.
