The BBC has reported encouraging preliminary results from the UK’s first stem cell trial in acute stroke being led by Professor Keith Muir, who is the SINAPSE Professor of Medical Imaging at the University of Glasgow. Professor Muir, who stressed that these are very early results from a safety study, will be presenting the findings at the European Stroke Conference in London.
