A research technician position is available for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to support the acquisition, reconstruction, transfer and storage of data at the new preclinical PET/CT laboratory.
The microPET/CT laboratory offers state-of-the-art facilities for molecular imaging research using different radiotracers. Resources available in the microPET/CT laboratory allow for in vivo imaging studies targeting different systems and various research questions, as well as ex vivo/in vitro imaging. This new laboratory is part of the Edinburgh Preclinical Imaging (EPI) facility, an infrastructure with a unique set up for in vivo imaging, that holds five different imaging modalities: PET, CT, MRI, optical imaging and ultrasound imaging.
This post is full time and is available immediately. The position is initially a fixed-term appointment for 24 months.
