SINAPSE seed funding is available to support PhD studentships with starting dates around August 2016, with the purpose of growing partnerships.  Applications to fund students on imaging-related research projects are invited from SINAPSE members (up to four applicants per project) in partnership with external organisations.  Each awarded studentship will receive £30K over three years from SINAPSE, with matched funding to be provided by the partner organisation.  In deciding on release of funds, the SINAPSE Executive will consider factors including the participating academic groups and the location of partner organisations, with priority being given to applications involving multiple SINAPSE universities, and companies based in (or with a presence in) Scotland; see the application form for further details.  The closing date for applications is 18 December 2015, so that the awarded studentships may be advertised in early 2016.
